Centre for Innovation and Incubation (CIE)

The goal of Centre for Innovation and Incubation (CIE) at Bharat Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) is to promote and support technology based entrepreneurship spirit among the graduated and graduating students of BIET.

Centre for Innovation and Incubation, BIET wishes to facilitate the creation of ideas and inventions that benefit society. To this end, CIE, BIET has adopted this Incubation Policy to provide guidance and management structure to facilitate the development of entrepreneurship.

Incubation Center at CIE, BIET is supported by BIET that funds, mentors and nurtures ideas, startups and entrepreneurs. Virtual incubates can operate from anywhere in India. We are looking for:

 Early stage startups

 Mid to large sized companies with developed ideas

 Mentors to help our startups

Entrepreneurship Initiatives:

 The institute Empanelled in MHRDs ‘Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs)’ from 2018-2019

  Empanelled in PM-YUVA Yojana(Pradhan Mantri Yuva Udyamita Vikas Abhiyan) to create an enabling ecosystem for Entrepreneurship Development through entrepreneurship education and training

  Empanelled in Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), Centre for Rural Development and Technology to build an understanding of the development agenda within institutes of Higher Education and an institutional capacity and training relevant to national needs, especially those of rural India

 Empanelled as a Partner Indian School of Business - Technical Entrepreneur Program (ISB - TEP) by ISB for over a period of one year from 2018-2019
